John Michael PACHA or Jack as he was familiarily (sic) known, passed away at the home of his mother Mrs. Jacob PACHA Monday at 11:30 a.m. Death was due to diabetis (sic) and complications. He was 62 years old.
Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's church at East Pleasant Plain Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. with burial in adjoining cemetery.
He was the son of Jacob and Barbara BENDA PACHA born Nov. 9 1879 and all of his life spent on the same farm.
He is survived by his aged mother, five sisters Bertha and Katherine at home, Mrs. Adam PECK of Pleasant Plain, Mrs. Elizabeth BENDA and Mrs. Christine ANDERSON of Iowa City. One brother Joe PACHA of Pleasant Plain also survives.
