E. MINEART dies at 94

PLEASANT PLAIN -- Elizabeth MINEART, 94, died at Parkview Care Center Fairfield at noon Tuesday. The Rosary will be recited Thursday, 8 p.m. at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic church in East Pleasant Plain with Father Louis Leonhardt in charge.

Mrs. MINEART was born March 22, 1884 at Philo, Ill., the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth DALY DONALDSON. She was married to Vincent W. MINEART January 30, 1924. He died in 1964. Prior to her marriage she taught school in Chicago. They moved to a farm south of Pleasant Plain and following his death she moved to Washington 12 years ago.

She was a member of St. James Parish in Washington, the Altar and Rosary society, Senior Citizen and Golden Age club.

Surviving are one daughter, Marion HUMSTON of Washington; two sons, Joe MINEART of Brighton and Bob of San Francisco, Calif.; two stepchildren: Charles MINEART, Fairfield, and Lucille GODWIN of Iowa City; 13 grandchildren, 20 step grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by one stepson, three brothers and four sisters.
