Year Old Infant Dies In Cedar Rapids Today

BRIGHTON -- Jacquelyn Renne (sic) MESSER, who celebrated her first birthday a little over a month ago, died this morning at her parents' home in Cedar Rapids. She had been ill for some time.

She was a daughter of Phillip and Jean SUPPELLA (sic - SUPALLA) MESSER of Cedar Rapids.

Jacquelyn was born Dec. 31, 1961. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Chester MESSER and Mr. and Mrs. A. L. SUPPELLA (sic), all of Pleasant Plain.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Pleasant Plain with the Rev. L. Bergthold in charge. The Gould Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors, besides the parents and grandparents, include a brother, Stephen, and sister, Crystalyn, both at home.

The little girl had been preceded in death by an infant sister and two infant brothers.

MESSER Infant

Jacquelyn Renee MESSER, two-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip A. MESSER, 3622 Fourteenth avenue SE, died Wednesday. She was born Dec. 31, 1960 (sic) in Cedar Rapids.

Surviving in addition to her parents, are a sister, Crystalyn MESSER; a brother, Steven MESSER, both at home; the grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Chester MESSER and Mr. and Mrs. A. L. SUPALLA of Pleasant Plains (sic), and the great-grandparents, Peter J. FRITZ of Pleasant Plains and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur MESSER of Wayland.

The body was taken to the Gould funeral home at Brighton.
