Robert MANNHARDT, 21, Dies At Sanitarium

BRIGHTON, Ia., Jan. 12 -- Robert Joseph MANNHARDT, 21, died at Oak Dale sanitarium at Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA) early this morning. He had been a patient there since September.

The body is at the Omar Hoskins funeral home. Services are pending.

He was the son of Davis (sic - Daniel) and Theresa KURTZ MANNHARDT, former residents of Brighton. Surviving are his father and one brother, Father Charles MANNHARDT, both of Lovilia. He was preceded in death by his mother a number of years ago.

Final Rites Saturday For Robert MANNHARDT

Requiem funeral mass for Robert Joseph MANNHARDT, who passed away yesterday morning, will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the St. Joseph church in East Pleasant Plain. Services will be in charge of his foster brother, the Rev. Father Charles MANNHARDT, of Lovilia. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

The body is at the Omar Hoskins funeral home in Brighton where the Rosary will be read this evening.
