OBITUARY.

Mary Jane McCORMICK was born Sept. 23, 1823, in Harrison County, Ohio, and came to Iowa in 1851, and in the same year was married to Alpheus BARTOW and lived on the farm some seven miles north and east of Fairfield. Her husband died in 1898. Of late years her health failed and she moved to Perlee for a time, but recently made her home with the family of E. G. Spencer, where she died May 8, 1900. Christian church. Funeral at Moyer Chapel.....She was buried in the J. J. McKee cemetery in Penn township, where her husband and her mother are also buried.
