Ronnie G. Cravens, 51, formerly of Douds, died at 7:40 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, at Nelson Nursing Home.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Howard Innis officiating. Burial will be in Iowaville Cemetery near Selma.

Open visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds.

The family will be present to greet friends from 1-2 p.m. immediately preceding the funeral Wednesday.

A memorial for the family has been established and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to 10017 Miller Chapel Road, Ottumwa, 52501.

Mr. Cravens was born June 21, 1953, in Lavale, Mo., the son of James and Helen Glenn Cravens. He was married and divorced several times.

He grew up and attended school in Douds and later moved to Ottumwa and Fairfield.

He worked in construction and carpentry.

Survivors include his children, Nicole, Ronnie, Jr., Wayne and Shane Michael; two brothers, James Cravens of Ottumwa and R.F. Kendall of Aurora, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Wanda Rhysdam.
