Former Resident of Fairfield Is Dead; Rites Monday

Fairfield, Ia., May 5 - Leonard KELLER, 32, native of this vicinity and resident of Cedar Rapids, Ia., died Thursday night at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn., where he had undergone a major operation, according to word received here.

He was born and reared in Fairfield and the immediate vicinity.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. A. L. (sic - Valentine A.) KELLER; two sisters, Mrs. Francis O'NEAL of this city and Mrs. John ZAHARRIS of Minnesota Lake, Minn.; three brothers, Phillip of Fairfield, Roy of Chicago, Ill., and Ed of LaPorte, Ind.

The body will arrive here Saturday afternoon and will be taken to the Hoskins funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from the St. Mary's Catholic church, the Rev. E. F. Gaule officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery, Pleasant Plain, Ia.
