BRIGHTON, April 28 -- Mary Susan KASKA, 83, died at 9:30 this morning at her home in East weeks illness with a heart affliction (sic - no damage to paper, just missing text).
The body was taken to the Omar Hoskins funeral home in Brighton and will be returned to the KASKA home tomorrow afternoon. A rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tomorrow evening in the KASKA home. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 Monday morning at St. Joseph's church, East Pleasant Plain, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Miss KASKA was the last member of her family and had spent her entire life in the community. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Angstead for the sale of Lots 7 and 8, block 19 East Pleasant Plain, Iowa, for $600.00 and that said sale will come on for approval by the District Court of Jefferson County, Iowa, at 1:30 p.m. on June 18, 1947, and will be then approved unless a higher and better offer is made at or before said time.
