Mildred Elizabeth BONNETT

Mildred Elizabeth BONNETT, 93, of Jefferson County Hospital Living Care Center, died at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005, at the hospital.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles McCracken officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

No family visitation is planned, but friends may call from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Fairfield Public Library or Hospice of Central Iowa. Online condolences may be left at www.behnerfh.com

Mrs. BONNETT was born Feb. 13, 1912, in Fairfield, the daughter of Frank Theodore and Emma Mae STORTZ FLINSPACH. She married Lester Eugene BONNETT Oct. 17, 1937, in Woolson Friends Church. He died April 6, 1967.

She graduated from Fairfield High School.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Roy E. BONNETT and wife Mary Kay of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; one daughter, Doris M. STRAIT and husband Marvin of Keosauqua; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
