Robert M OATES Jr passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family and friends May 8, 2018. He will be loved and missed by all who were touched and inspired by his life.

Robert was born in Glendale, CA March 20, 1943. In his early life he was a professional football player for 10 years with the NY Rams. He was also a writer and wrote many books on his football days. He became a TM teacher in 1973. He became a Professor of Writing at MUM and wrote many books on consciousness..

He is survived by his wife of 40 years Patricia OATES, and two nephews Andrew OATES of Manhattan Beach, CA and Chris OATES of Redondo Beach, CA and sister in law Sussie OATES of Manhattan Beach, CA.

He is proceeded (sic) in death by his Father and Mother, Robert OATES Sr. and Marnie OATES and a brother Steve OATES.

A Celebration of his Life Memorial will be held at Dalby Hall MUM Campus on June 2nd, 2018 at 2:00 pm followed by a dessert social.
