Eddie graduated from Iowa Wesleyan in August 14, 2004, with a Bachelor's of Art Degree in communications & religious studies. When he and Sandra lived in Wichita he worked at Cessna Aircraft as a supervisor and foreman. Some of Eddie's outside interests were fishing, gardening, tending to his fruit orchard, working in the yard, and grilling outside. He liked to keep busy so you would find him tinkering either on the house or in the garage.

While inside he enjoyed drinking coffee and reading the paper. Most important to Eddie was spending time with his grandkids, kids & family. He will be missed by those who called him husband, dad, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, uncle and friend.

Left to share Eddie's memories are his wife, Sandra of Birmingham; two children, Cassandra ELLIS of Ottumwa and Robert ELLIS of Birmingham; 4 grandchildren, Iolean, Ethan, John and Jacob ELLIS all of Fairfield; one great grandchild; one brother, Jerry ELLIS and nephew, Lance ELLIS of Shawnee, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LaVerne and Edith; one brother, Dwain ST. CLAIR; one sister, Betty ST. CLAIR; and one sister-in-law, Linda ELLIS.
