Barbara Ann (DAVISON) BOOTH, 82, of Brighton, died Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Parkview Home in Wayland. She was born October 13, 1935, the daughter of Johnie and Grace (PRATT) DAWSON (sic). She graduated from Washington High School and married Gene BOOTH on January 11, 1953. Barb worked at National Bank of Washington, McCleery-Cummins, Booth Grocery and Gambles, City of Brighton, and Washington Lawn & Leisure. She volunteered with the Brighton Volunteer First Responders and Suicide Prevention.

Barb is survived by her husband Gene, children: David BOOTH, Myrtle Beach, Cindy (Bob) GEORGE, Iowa City, Rosmary De KOCK, Nebraska City, NE, Patti (Tim) BOYER, Kansas City, MO and Richard Lee (Marcy) HAGANS, Washington, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, George DAVISON, Washington and Bob (Nancy) DAVISON, Donnellson, and one sister, Beatrice COOVER, Marion. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Ruth DICKINSON, Mary STONE, John DAVISON, Virginia NEFF, Geneva PAILLIOTET, Gertrude NASH, Dwight DAVISON, Grace Delight SPOHN and Betty DAVISON, an infant daughter and granddaughter Jennifer De KOCK.

Celebration of Life Services will be 11 A.M. Thursday April 12, 2018, at Brighton United Church with Rev. Rick Zickefoose officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at the Brighton United Church. Memorials for either the Brighton Volunteer First Responders or for the Brighton United Church may be left at the church or mailed to the family at 405 West Washington Street, Brighton, IA 52540. Gould Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
