HENRY T. BRUDERS

Henry T. BRUDERS, age 75 years, 11 months, died at his home on North Sixth street, Sunday at 6 a.m. after an illness of several months. He was preceded in death by a son who died in infancy. Mr. BRUDERS was born in Germany, July 28th, 1857. In 1879 he was united in marriage to Miss Anna SCHROEDER (sic - Johanna Frederika Sophia SCHROEDER). They came to this country in 1881, making their home in Bloomfield, Ia. Coming to Fairfield in 1905. They have made their home here since that time.

He was a life long member of the Christian church. He is survived by his wife, Anna, and six children. Three sons, Walter, Earl and William, all of Fairfield, and three daughters, Mrs. W. H. BAIRD, Mrs. R. C. AIN, of Fairfield, and Mrs. Ben GAGER of Dowagiac, Mich. Fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive him.

Note: Buried in Old Fairfield City Cemetery, Lot 133, east half. Wife Anna died in 1942 and is buried with him.
