DEATH OF MRS. REBECCA ROWLAND, at the home of her daughter, MRS. FAYETTE SPENCER, last Sunday evening. Age 75 years 11 months 12 days. Maiden name was REBECCA MATTHEWS; born Hancock County, Ill., Sept. 28, 1823. Married WILLIAM B. ROWLAND 11 Nov. 1841 and they removed to Iowa in the following year, locating in Lee County…MR. ROWLAND died here in 1893. Of the five children born to them, MRS. FAYETTE SPENCER, of this city is the only one living….Member of the Predestinarian Baptist Church in Round Prairie Township….
