Mrs. Etta CARLSON, 84, longtime resident of Lockridge, died Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the Washington County hospital in Washington. She had been seriously ill for a month.
Last rites will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of Dr. J. Henry Teele. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.
Mrs. CARLSON was born Feb. 20, 1875 at Lockridge, the daughter of Jacob and Sarah BALDOSIER DUTTWEILER. She was married to Leonard F. CARLSON Jan. 1, 1902. He preceded her in death Nov. 8, 1946.
Mrs. CARLSON spent all of her life at Lockridge with the exception of 13 years in the Libertyville area. She was a member of the Libertyville Methodist church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C. L. BUTLER, Atlantic; and Mrs. Joseph TOBIN, Ainsworth. Three grandchidlren, three great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Anna KING, Fairfield; and Mrs. Sadie GRAF, Lockridge, also survive.
Five sisters and one brother are deceased.
