Bonita Springs, FL

Carol ADAM MURPHY, 69, died December 28, 2017 at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, FL with her beloved children and husband by her side.

Born on February 17, 1948 in Batavia IA to Walter and Mary Catherine ADAM she was the third child of 12. Her mother would refer to Carol as her "little baker". From a young age she always wanted to help others. After her childhood on the ADAM family farm she grew into a woman who found success in every sense of the word, most notably as a Mother and Grandmother.

Carol would talk to anyone, as if they had been friends forever. Her loving words have healed many wounds. Her stories have brought tears and laughter. Her encouragement has changed many a life. Carol will be remembered by her actions.

Carol blessed us with her light. Even in the years leading up to her death, she did not waiver in her faith. In the darkest moments, she shined as bright as ever.
