Jackie L. McLACHLAN 63, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017, at her home in Mt. Pleasant (note: in Henry Co., IA).

Jackie was born on December 17, 1954, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of George A. and Lorna J. GRAFF WESELY. Jackie graduated from the Fairfield High School. She and Thomas H. McLACHLAN spent 25 years together before his death on December 11, 2012.

Jackie worked for Motorola of Mt. Pleasant and later for Hawkeye Paving Company of Davenport. She enjoyed going to the car races and traveling.

She is survived by her daughter Lynne MASON and grandson Rhion both of Mt. Pleasant, her brothers Mike (Marsha) WESELY of Lockridge, Dan (Kay) WESELY of Salem, Dennis (Julie) WESELY and Curtus WESELY all of Lockridge and Karla SCHAFER of East Pleasant Plain.

Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas H. McLACHLAN.

According to her wishes cremation has been entrusted to the Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017, at the Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. Memorials may be directed to HCI Hospice of Mt. Pleasant in her memory.
