Funeral Services Will Be Held Wednesday Morning At 9 From St. Mary's ChurchMrs. Anna KING died this morning at 2 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. F. VOGEL, 501 East Adams street.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from the St. Mary's Catholic church. Interment will be in the Lockridge cemetery.
Mrs. KING was born September 25, 1839 in Eshelsmot Canton, Luzerne, Switzerland. She was married to Sebastain KING, April 11, 1864 and came to America November 25, 1865 where she has since resided. She and her husband first purchased a farm in Henry County near Trenton and in 1873 purchased a farm in Jefferson county north of Lockridge. She then moved to Fairfield and has lived here 22 years. Eleven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. KING, five of whom are living, they are John, Samuel, Albert and Mrs. Louisa VOGEL of Fairfield and Joseph of Kahoka, Missouri, all were with her at the time of her death. Her husband preceded her in death March 16, 1896 (sic - Mar. 17, 1895, per his gravestone and obituary). Four children died in infancy and William died February 16, 1923 and Fred June 25, 1923.
