LEE IRA COGER, LOCKRIDGE MAN DIED AT HOME

Had lived in the Lockridge community for the past 30 years

Lee Ira COGER died at his home in Lockridge this morning at 4:30 a.m. He had been in failing health for several years and seriously ill for the past three months.

The body was brought to the Hoskins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday at the Lockridge Baptist church at 2:00 p.m. Services will be in charge of Rev. Oscar Ouverson.

Mr. COGER was born May 22, 1887 in Hancock county, Ill., and had lived in the Lockridge community for the past 30 years.

He leaves his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Harley MILLER of Fairfield and Mrs. Carl RUPP of Lockridge. Also four sisters, Mrs. (Etta?) BAILEY, Marshalltown; Mrs. Fred WHITE of Downing, Mo.; Mrs. Erma SIEPEL of Glasford, Ill.; and Mrs. Sanford SMOOT, also of Downing, Mo.

His mother, Mrs. Edna COGER, and three grandchildren also survive.

Mr. COGER was section foreman for the C. B. & Q. railroad for 35 years.
