K. ARCHIBALD dies at 89

Kittie B. ARCHIBALD, 89, 406 North D, died at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jefferson County Hospital.

Services will be at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Lenwood Monte officiating. Burial will be in Lockridge Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience. A memorial has been established to Augustana Lutheran Church Women.

Mrs. ARCHIBALD was born Oct. 15, 1896 near Glasgow, the daughter of Jesse Calvin and Laura CASE HELFENSTINE. She lived most of her life in the Lockridge-Stockport area, and was a member of First Augustana Lutheran Church of Lockridge, LCW and Rebekah Lodge. On Sept. 15, 1910 at Keosauqua, she married Frank J. ARCHIBALD, who died Jan 4, 1968

Surviving are two daughters, Nedra FISHEL of Fairfield, Shirley GUSTAFSON of Overland Park, Kan; two granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; one sister, Myrtle JOHNSTON of Fairfield, and a brother, E. C. HELFENSTINE of Greeley, Colo. A son preceded her in death.
