LIBERTYVILLE -- Florence E. WATKINS, 90, of the Broadway Towers Apartments in Libertyville, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 1994, at the Jefferson County Hospital.

She was born Nov. 24, 1903, near Libertyville to Abe and Lulu SULLIVAN RODIBAUGH. She married Harold Wayne WATKINS Sept. 24, 1924, in Fairfield. they lived in Kirksville, Ottumwa and Stockport, but most of her life was spent in Libertyville.

She had worked at the Jefferson County Hospital, operated the Libertyville Cafe and had worked at Parsons College for 10 years. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 21, 1957, her parents and two brothers, William and Karl RODIBAUGH.

Surviving are one daughter, Donna Jane ALLISON of Liberty, Mo.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Faith United Methodist Church with the Rev. Thomas Clark officiating. Burial will be in Fell Cemetery near Libertyville.

Open visitation at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield begins at noon Wednesday. The family will receive friends at the Watkins apartment in Libertyville.

A memorial has been established to the Libertyville Senior Citizen Center.
