David MINEART age 66, of Richland, passed away November 15, 2017 at Jefferson County Health Center.

Arrangements are pending at Behner Funeral Home.

Daivd L. MINEART, age 66, of Richland, passed away November 15, 2017, at Jefferson County Health Center.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5-7P.M. Friday November 17, 2017, at Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday November 18, 2017, at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Cary officiating.

Cremation will follow the service with burial in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials can be made to the family, donations will go to the following; Hearing Impaired Organization, American Heart Association or the American Lung Association. Cards and memorials can be mailed to: Michelle BAXTER, 107 West Railroad Street, Brighton, IA 52540.

David was born August 24, 1951, to Charlie and Ethel PECK MINEART in Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1969. He had lived his entire life in the Fairfield area. David was a member of the Eagles Lodge (sic - Club/Aerie) No. 1927, enjoyed playing cards, fishing and working and was a loyal Cubs and Hawkeye fan. Most of all he enjoyed attending family gatherings and spending time with his family and friends.

Left to share David's memory are a daughter, Michelle BAXTER (John) of Brighton, a son, Troy MINEART of Willits, CA, five brothers, Richard MINEART (Margie) of Fairfield and John MINEART Sr. all of Fairfield, Donald MINEART (Jackie) of Roscoe, IL and Kenny MINEART (Jody) of Rockford, IL, Dale MINEART (Denise) of Waterloo, three sisters, Marie BREESE of Casa Grande, AZ, Dolores JOHNSON (Fred) of Camano Island WA and Patricia LEISTIKOW (Rodney) of Deer River, MN, four grandchildren, Caleb BAXTER and Bryson, Corrina and Caden MINEART and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ethel MINEART, a son, Brock MINEART and a sister-in-law Marlee MINEART.
