Mrs. Elizabeth D. BRUCE, 87, died at 10:15 a.m. today at the Nelson Nursing home where she had been a patient for some time.
The body is at the Raymond funeral home where last rites are pending.
Before entering the nursing home Mrs. BRUCE lived at 608 N. Court.

Last rites for Mrs. Elizabeth D. BRUCE, 87, will be held Friday at 2 p. m. at the Raymond Funeral Home.
A former Presbyterian Missionary, Mrs. BRUCE died Wednesday at the Nelson Nursing home where she had been a patient for the past three years. She formerly resided at 608 N. Court.
Services will be conducted by Dr. C. R. Douglass.
Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.Mrs. BRUCE was born July 5, 1877 seven miles north of Fairfield, the daughter of John and Mary A. DAVIES. She was reared and educated in Fairfield, graduating from Parsons college in 1899. She was married to the Rev. George G. BRUCE May 14, 1903.
The Rev. and Mrs. BRUCE served as missionaries in China for two years following their marriage. They later spent 12 years as missionaries in Alaska. The Rev. BRUCE served a number of pastorates, including the First Presbyterian church of Oskaloosa, before his death Aug. 2, 1944.
Mrs. BRUCE was a member of the First Presbyterian church and Chapter C, PEO. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ethel McBRIDE, Spokane, Wash.

You Are Hereby Notified, That an instrument of writing purporting to be the Last Will and Testament and Codicil of Elizabeth D. BRUCE, deceased, dated March 7, 1958 having been this day filed, open and read, Wed. the 24th day of February, 1965, is fixed for hearing proof of same at the Court House in Fairfield, Iowa, before the District Court of said County, or the Clerk of said Court; and at 9:30 o'clock a.m. of the day above mentioned all persons interested are hereby notified and required to appear, and show cause if any they have, why said instrument should not be probated and allowed for the last Will and Testament of said deceased.
