Ray Harlan TEDROW

Salem, IA

Ray Harlan TEDROW, age 48, of Salem, IA, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017, in Gulf Breeze, Florida.

Visitation for family & friends will be, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Behner Funeral Home. After the visitation he will be cremated.

Memorial service will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Alvarez officiating. Burial of cremains will be at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Douds, IA following the service (note: in Van Buren Co., IA).

In-lieu of flowers (sic), a memorial has been established. Cards and memorials can be mailed to: Gary TEDROW, P.O. Box 75, Salem, IA 52649.

Ray was born February 7, 1969, in Fairfield, IA to Gary H. and Linda L. (BAXTER) TEDROW.

Ray graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. He was a machinist at Design Engineering in New London, IA. Ray was a member of the Christ Descendants of My Fathers Vineyard Pensacola, FL. Some of his outside activities was riding his motorcycle, hunting and fishing. Ray won many trophies by participating in tractor pulls and stock car racing. He liked working on various projects using his hands. Ray would follow the Hawkeye football.

Left to share Ray's memory are his parents, Gary and Linda TEDROW; two step children, Daniel KEMPER of Hillsboro, IA and Courtney SCOVERN of Gulf Breeze, FL; two grandchildren, Cara SCOVERN and Izzy Ray KEMPER due in January; one brother, David (Raina) TEDROW of Salem, IA; 3 nieces, Madison TEDROW, Hannah TEDROW and Bella TEDROW; 2 nephews, Jack CAPPS and Dade TEDROW; and his companion, Sherry Jo Witt.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Tammy and Shirley TEDROW.
