Two Deaths at the Poor Farm.

... Bridget DORSEY, who had been ill for four or five months, died in the same institution Thursday. She formerly resided in this city for many years. Mrs. DORSEY’s age was unknown, but her own recollection and such proofs as she was able to gather indicated that she had passed the century mark. She was probably the oldest person in Jefferson county. Mrs. DORSEY was a communicant of the Catholic church. Funeral services were held in St. Mary’s church, this city, Friday, and the body was buried in the City cemetery (sic - Evergreen Cemetery). Many old friends and neighbors, who held the aged woman in high esteem, were present at the services.
