DEATH OF MRS. SUSAN DORSEY. At St. Francis’ Hospital, Burlington, on Friday last occurred the death of MRS. SUSAN DORSEY, a lady who had been a resident of this city since 1871, with the exception of two years she has spent in that institution, whither she was taken for medical treatment. MRS. DORSEY was a native of Ireland, and was in the 64th year of her age. When about 30 years of age she came to this country, and was married shortly afterwards to TIMOTHY DORSEY, who died in this city in 1879, in Syracuse, N. Y. Death resulted from heart disease. Two sons were born to MR. and MRS. DORSEY, DENNIS C., now living at Cedar Rapids, and JOHN, at Omaha. The remains were brought to this city for interment Sunday and were placed in the City Cemetery, Father SCHIFFMACHER conducting the services. Many old friends who loved MRS. DORSEY for her many womanly traits attended the funeral.
