Don FUQUA rites set

Don LaVerne FUQUA, 66, Ranch Trailer Court, died Saturday morning at his home.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. John W. Meyer officiating. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at Behner Funeral Home. The casket will be closed. A memorial has been established to First Lutheran Church. Friends may contact his daughter, Diana, at Judy Whitmore's, 903 S. Park.

FUQUA was born June 27, 1921 in Jefferson County, the son of Ernest and Anna EASTON FUQUA. A graduate of Fairfield High School Class of '39 Around the Square, he was owner and operator of Don's Radio and TV Hospital for 47 years, and served in World War II. He married Dorothy P. McINTIRE. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Fairfield Week-Enders, Coin Club, CB Club, and one of the founders of the Jefferson County Genealogical Society. He also was an artist and published poet.

Surviving are a daughter, Dianna SCHWEITZER, Albany, Mo.; three granddaughters, and one sister, Darlene LUXFORD of Shelby.
