Dwight WILLIAMS, 73, of Richland, died Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at his home.

Dwight was born Aug. 1, 1943, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield to Stanley and Inez (MYERS) WILLIAMS. He graduated from Ollie Attendance Center of Pekin Community Schools in 1961. On July 28, 1972, he married Sandra Kay WEBER at St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota. A lifelong resident of the Ollie and Richland communities, Dwight was a lifelong farmer, starting at the age of 16. He started driving a truck for Bradley Young in 1998 and then for Adrian Trucking.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra, of Richland; daughter, Renee (Curtis) RIESS of Conroy; two sisters, Sue (Herb) MOHR of Sigourney and Ann (John) DIEDE of Wenatchee, Wash.; three nieces; and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 24, at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church in Richland, with the Rev. Charles Fladung officiating. Burial: Richland Township Cemetery (note: in Keokuk Co., IA). Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 23, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, where there will be a wake service at 4 p.m.
