Ruth Ann Adam, 72, of Muscatine and formerly of Harper died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, at the Riverbend Nursing and Rehab Center in Muscatine.

Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota with the Rev. Marty Goetz officiating. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Harper.

No public visitation will be held.

A memorial fund has been established for the Holy Trinity Parish or Hospice.

Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota is in charge of arrangements.

Miss Adam was born July 18, 1932, in rural Harper, the daughter of Peter J. and Pearl Adam.

She moved to Muscatine in May 2003.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors include four sisters, Verda Sieren of Keota, Verena Snakenberg of Sigourney, Oda Reed of Fairfield, and Edith Warnick of Delta; and two brothers, Elmer M. Adam of Fairfield and Harry Joe Adam of Columbus Junction.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters and two brothers.
