Beverly "Bev" J. OLSON, 77, of Fairfield, died Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, with Dave Goehring officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home.
Memorials can be made to Fairfield Public Library, Camp Sunnyside or to the family. Cards and memorials can be mailed to Randy Olson, 1123 S. Linden Lane, Mt. Pleasant 52641. Online condolences can be made at www.behnerfh.com.
Ms. OLSON was born May 17, 1939, in Mt. Pleasant to Weslie E. and Charlotte BECKER OLSON.
She graduated from Fairfield High School with the Class of 1958.
She lived most of her life in Jefferson County.
Ms. OLSON was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lydia Circle and United Methodist Women.
She also was a board member of the Fairfield Public Library and treasurer for FHS Class of 1958. She liked to follow the Iowa Hawkeyes basketball.
Survivors include: sister Shelley OLSON of Fort Worth, Texas.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; brothers Wendell OLSON and Richard OLSON; and sister, Shirley BROWN.
