Dorothy M. BYERS

Dorothy M. BYERS, 102, of Ottumwa, formerly of Douds, died at 8:25 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017, at Hospice of Davis & Wapello Counties, Ottumwa (note: in Wapello Co., IA).

She had donated her body to the University of Iowa.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds is assisting with arrangements.

Dorothy M. BYERS

Dorothy M. BYERS, 102, of Ottumwa and formerly of Douds, died Friday, April 28, 2017, at Hospice House, Ottumwa.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Ottumwa.

She had donated her body to University of Iowa Medical School. Cremation will follow the study. Interment of cremains will be in Leando Cemetery in Douds.

Memorials to First United Methodist Church, Hospice of Wapello & Davis Counties or Girl Scouts can be brought to the service or mailed to 645 N. Court St., Ottumwa 52501.

Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua is assisting with arrangements.
