Sylvia May Johnson, 64, of Nelson Nursing Home, 807 W. Taylor Ave., died at 1:40 a.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2005 at the home.

No funeral is planned. Burial of cremains will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Central Iowa or Nelson Nursing Home. Condolences can be left online at www.behnerfh.com.

Behner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Johnson was born April 12, 1940, in Fairfield. She married Willard Johnson Dec. 2, 1991. He died in 2000.

She was employed by Super 8 Motel in Fairfield as a housekeeper.

Her past times included growing flowers and watching TV.

Survivors include two brothers, Carol E. Brobston of Fairfield and Hugh Wesley Brobston of Woodway, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Eugene Brobston.
