Willard R. MACY, 90, of Stockport, died Monday, April 24, 2017, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center.

Willard Russel MACY

Willard Russell (sic) MACY, 90, of Stockport, died Monday, April 24, 2017, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Greg Friedrich officiating. Burial will be at Wright Cemetery.

A Masonic service will start at 5 p.m. Sunday at Behner Funeral Home, with visitation to follow until 7 p.m.

Mr. MACY was born Dec. 24, 1926, to Delbert C. and Beulah VAN DYKE MACY. He married Donna Jean RIZOR March 14, 1948, in Fairfield. She died March 21, 1998.

Mr. MACY graduated from Fairfield High School in 1945.

He was a lifetime farmer starting with horses. He also worked 25 years at American Chain & Cable. Some of his other jobs throughout his life in addition to farming were, carpentry, cream route driver, rural mail carrier and snow removal for the Department of Transportation.

As a member of First Lutheran Church, Mr. MACY was active on the church council and committees. He was a member of Masons, Lions Club and Odd Fellows.

Survivors include: children, Connie (Ken) MOORE of Birmingham, Kathianne KELLER of Brighton, Kristin MACY of Newton and Charles MACY of Des Moines; three grandchildren; three great grandsons; sister, Lucille STEVENSON of Williamsburg; and brother, Harold "Hal" MACY of Palmdale, California.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Leonard "Len" MACY; and special friend, Judy Anderson.
