Carol Elizabeth HARRELL

Carol Elizabeth HARRELL age 72, of Jacksonville, FL passed away peacefully Monday, March 6, 2017 at Clarity Pointe, Assisted Living in Jacksonville, FL.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, East Pleasant Plain, IA. Funeral mass will follow at 10:30 am. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, East Pleasant Plain.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. Cards and memorials can be sent to: Kenny RUSSELL, 5225 Chicora Ct., Jacksonville, FL 32258.

Carol Elizabeth MINEART was born January 1, 1945 to Sylvester H. "Bud" and Ferne E. (GOEHRING) MINEART.

Carol graduated from Fairfield High School class of 1963 and American Institute of Business class of 1965. Carol was a former employee of Bank of America. Carol was in impeccable seamstress who made many garments for others and created costumes for dolls for Chapman's Doll Shop. Carol's delight was her sisters, sons, grandchildren and great grandchild visiting her frequently.

Carol is survived by her sons, John Anthony "Tony" RUSSELL of Eugene, OR and Kenneth "Kenny" CURTIS (Lisa) of Jacksonville, FL; 6 grandchildren, Grace BRIGGS-MINEART, Ferne BRIGGS-MINEART, Forrest BRIGGS-MINEART all from Eugene, OR, Amanda SUMMERLIN of Douglas, GA, Destinie Nicole "Nikki" RUSSELL, Kenneth "Colby" RUSSELL both of Jacksonville, FL; 1 great granddaughter, Levi Ashlynn SUMMERLIN; 5 sisters, Mary Margaret WAGNER, Burlington, IA, Rosalie (Clarence) KINNEY, Downing, MO, Marily MINEART, Independence, MO, Ann (Deryl) DRUM, Belleville, IL, and Martha (Ben) BUCKMAN, Excelsior Springs, MO.

Carol was preceded by her parents, Sylvester "Bud" and Ferne MINEART.
