Paul WILEY, 90, of Fairfield, died today, Thursday, March 9, 2017, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.

Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is helping the family with arrangements.

Paul Vernon WILEY, 90 of Fairfield, died Thursday, March 9, 2017.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials can be made to the donor's choice, American Heart Association, diabetes or HCI Hospice Care Services. Cards and memorials can be mailed to Loretta ECKWALL, 201 W. Jefferson Ave., Unit C, Fairfield 52556. Online condolences can be made at www.behnerfh.com.

Mr. WILEY was born Oct. 28, 1926, in Winfield to Paul Bennett and Martha Laura DILLAVOU WILEY. He married Loris Eleanor DAVIS May 11, 1947, at Spring Run Church in Columbus Junction.

Mr. WILEY served in the Army during the World War II era and was stationed in Italy.

He worked at Agri Industrial Plastics, American Chain & Cable and drove cars for Danielson Motors.

He would play the guitar and Mrs. WILEY would accompany him on the piano, organ or accordion. He attended Free Methodist Church, and some Sundays, he would play the accordion.

Survivors include: his wife, Loris WILEY of Fairfield; children, Loretta ECKWALL of Fairfield, Cecil (Chris) WILEY of Sarasota, Florida, and Priscilla (Don) SCHULTHESS of Sheridan, Wyoming; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lorine FRAME of Winfield.

He was preceded in death: by his parents; and twin great-grandsons.
