Harriette Arminda HEADLEY

Harriette Arminda HEADLEY, 83, of Libertyville died at 11:07 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 1997, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Gordon Oliver officiating. Burial will be in the Brethren Cemetery near Batavia. Family visitation wil be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, preceding the funeral service. Memorials can be made to the Libertyville Church of the Brethren.

Mrs. HEADLEY was born May 13, 1913, near Batavia, the daughter of Charles Henry and Ida Susan TEETER MANNING. She married Harold R. HEADLEY on June 25, 1931. He died Feb. 8, 1974, in Fairfield.

She was a lifetime resident of Jefferson County, farming with her husband in Des Moines Township. She was a farm-homemaker and a member of the Libertyville Church of the Brethren for more than 70 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Bonita MILLER of Eldon; one son, David of Batavia; one brother, Glenn MANNING of Batavia; and two grandsons. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and four sisters, Verda KUZMICKI, Catherine PARRIS, Grace SHARP and Mabel HEADLEY.
