John HAHN, 64, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield is helping the family with arrangements.

John Martin HAHN

John Martin HAHN, 64, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at Jefferson County Health Center.

Mr. HAHN was an organ donor.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Nick Adam officiating. Burial of cremains, with military rites, will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorials can be made to American Lung Association, Fairfield Little League, The Lords Cupboard or Disabled American Veterans. Cards and memorials can be mailed to Cindy HAHN, 206 E. Fillmore Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Mr. HAHN was born Oct. 27, 1952, in Anchorage, Alaska, the son of Harold Francis and Shirley Marilyn WEIRBACH HAHN. He married Cindy MANLEY July 16, 1988, in Fairfield.

Mr. HAHN graduated from Fairfield High School with the Class of 1971. He served in the Army from 1971-1974. He worked at The Dexter Company as a foundry worker from 1976-2009.

Mr. HAHN's interests included fishing, gardening, coin collecting, and collecting baseball cards. He watched baseball and was a Hawkeye fan. He loved his animals.

Survivors include: his wife, Cindy HAHN of fairfield; his siblings, Chuck HAHN, Sue NICELY, Harold HAHN, Jean DOROTHY, Jim HAHN, and Sandy DAVISSON, all of Fairfield, Bill HAHN of Quincy, Illinois, Carrie GORDON of Iowa City.

He was preceded in death by: his parents.
