Thomas C. FORD, 62, of Fairfield, died at his home, surrounded by his family, Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016.
No funeral service is planned at this time. Cremation has been accorded.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials can be directed to Mr. FORD's family.
Mr. FORD was born Sept. 13, 1954, in Fairfield, the son of Max J. and Eva Mae BOYLE FORD. He married Phyllis BALES May 25, 2012, in Ottumwa.
Mr. FORD grew up and lived his entire life in the Fairfield community. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1973.
He worked as a machinist at Rockwell International, later known as Meritor, in Fairfield and John Deere Works in Ottumwa. He was a member of the UAW.
Survivors include: his wife Phyllis; one son, Kyle FORD and significant other Jerrica of Fairfield; two daughters, Stephanie HUMBLE and husband Jamie of Batavia and Lynn CARNES and husband Wayne of Ottumwa; two stepchildren, Darrell ROBERTS of Bloomfield and Deana HORNEY and husband Brad of Bloomfield; 13 grandchildren; and one brother, Jim FORD of Fairfield; and one sister, Linda WILLIAMS of Birmingham.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother, Max FORD Jr.; and one sister, Ann BOYSEN.
