Naomi Mae TEDROW, 95, of Fairfield, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Dianne Brokken officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery (note: near Douds in Van Buren Co., IA).
Open visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home for people to sign the guest book.

Mrs. TEDROW was born Sept. 28, 1921, in Ellisville, Illinois, the daughter of Oliver Wendell and Mabel Vera STECHER BAILEY. She married Rayburn Joseph TEDROW Sept. 14, 1940. He died Dec. 29, 1993.
Mrs. TEDROW grew up in Illinois and moved to Iowa after her marriage. She started working outside the home in November 1965 at the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital. In March 1972, she started working at the Jefferson County Hospital until June 1975 when she was laid off. In September 1975, she was rehired at the Van Buren hospital, and she worked there until she retired in June 1984.
After she retired she started making quilts, latch hooking and embroidering. She was on a bowling league and did a lot of subbing.
She and her husband sold the farm in 1970 and moved to town.
She enjoyed traveling, going to the casino and playing bingo.
Survivors include: two children, Judy FISHER of Kansas City, Missouri, and Glenn TEDROW and wife Earla Jean of Fairfield; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patsy DILTS of Ellisville, Illinois, and Vera WILLIAMSON of Galesburg, Illinois.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: her parents; six brothers, Glenn, Warren, Elmer, Murl, Wayne and Ralph; and four sisters, Mable, Velda, Betty and Ruth.
