Bobby Lynn LOVELL

Bobby Lynn LOVELL, 66, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA).

Per his wishes, the body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Jim Cecil officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the memorial service.

Memorials can be made to the Fairfield Senior Citizen Center. Cards and memorials can be mailed to Saundra LOVELL, 103 South D St., Fairfield 52556. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.behnerfh.com.

Mr. LOVELL was born Aug. 16, 1950, in Altus, Oklahoma, the son of Robert and Eula Mae FUTRELL LOVELL. He married Saundra HOLLOWAY Jan. 28, 1972, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma.

Mr. LOVELL graduated from Altus High School. He served in the National Guard. He worked 20 years for ANR Pipeline as a measurement technician before he retired. After retirement, he worked at Jefferson County Health Center in maintenance.

Mr. LOVELL had lived in Fairfield since 1996.

Some of his interests and hobbies were fishing, golfing, stock car racing and woodworking. He was an Oklahoma University Sooner football fan. He did odd jobs at the Fairfield Senior Citizen Center and served on the board. He attended two different coffee clubs. What he enjoyed most was spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include: his wife, Saundra LOVELL; two daughters, Amy THOMPSON with spouse Kelly, and Shannon PRICE; five grandchildren; two brothers, Earl LOVELL of Bethany, Oklahoma, and David LOVELL of Midwest City, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; and one son, Craig Allen LOVELL.
