Carlyn Rae CLINE

Carlyn Rae CLINE, 65, of Lockridge, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA).

A funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Following the service, the body will be cremated, and burial of cremains will be at a later date.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. CLINE was born July 25, 1951, in Jefferson County. She married Marvin CLINE July 25, 1970.

Her work history included: Fairfield Glove for 15 years, Plexco for a year, and Hy-Vee for three years before retiring to become a fulltime farmer's wife.

Her favorite things included being with her grandchildren and attending their events, attending hockey games, traveling, raising calves, going to the Keosauqua Sale Barn, and being able to pet the dolphins at Sea World while on a trip to Texas with her family.

Some of her hobbies included decorating for the holidays with her favorites being Halloween and Christmas.

She volunteered with the ARC of Jefferson & Nearby Counties and Special Olympics.

She also enjoyed farming and spending time with her numerous dogs.

She was baptized at the Suburban Heights Church.

Survivors include: her husband, Marvin CLINE; three children, Allen CLINE and wife Janet, Tammirae NEUENDORF and husband Scott, and Lauria GUEZIMANE-CLINE; three sisters, Marlyn DEAO, Dixie ZARAGOZA, and Patty PERIAN; one brother, Grant PERIAN; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her mother, Patricia PERIAN; father, Kenneth KECK; and one grandson.
