Haley Jo ESSARY, 25, formerly of Fairfield, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Nick Adam officiating. Burial will be at Fell Cemetery in Libertyville.
Open visitation will start at 5 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Visitation with family present will be 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, prior to the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. Cards and memorials can be mailed to Jason and Amy ESSARY, 117 Cardinal Drive, Fairfield 52556. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.behnerfh.com.
Ms. ESSARY was born Feb. 26, 1991, in Iowa City, the daughter of Jason and Amy DEUTSCH ESSARY.
She lived most of her life in the Fairfield area. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 2009 and attended Ottumwa School of Beauty.
Ms. ESSARY worked as a waitress at George's Pizza during high school. She later worked at Kirkwood College in Cedar Rapids.
She loved all genres of music, and movies was her favorite past time (sic).
She was an organ donor.
Survivors include: "the love of her life" Wes Peck; her parents; and one brother, Dagen ESSARY.
