Kathleen M. ROBERTS

MILTON, WI -- Kathleen M. ROBERTS, 85, died on September 13, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville, WI.

She was born on September 3, 1931 in Fairfield, IA, the daughter of Kenneth and Cecil (HINSHAW) CLARK. She graduated from Packwood High School and attended Parsons College receiving a teaching certificate. On June 6, 1953, she was united in marriage to Donald J. ROBERTS.

Kathleen was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Milton and served many years in their religious education, secretary, doing programs, decorating for events, and whatever needed to be done. She also volunteered at school and was actively involved in 4-H Club, Rock Co. 4-H Summer Council and State Communication Projects.

After retiring, Kathy and Don enjoyed travelling in their motorhome and especially enjoyed winters in Tennessee, Arizona, and California.

Kathleen was a "child of the depression." She could make something out of nothing, could "make-do," think of art, multitask and get the job done. Her home and family was her commitment.

Kathleen is survived by her husband of 63 years, Don ROBERTS; children: John J. (Christine) ROBERTS; Paul K. ROBERTS; and Marcee (Kevin) BERGERON; her grandchildren: Madeleine N. BERGERON and Benjamin J. BERGERON; brother: Keith (Nancy) CLARK; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Billy CLARK.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Milton with Fr. David Timmerman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Milton.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Milton from 5 PM to 7 PM and from 9:30 a.m. until the start of the service at the church on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Kathleen's name to St. Mary Catholic Church, Milton or the Rock County 4-H Scholarship Fund.
