Mark A. BELKNAP, 52, of Stockport, died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids (note: in Linn Co., IA).

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Mark A. BELKNAP

Mark A. BELKNAP, 52, of Stockport, died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Dan Baker officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

The family will be present to greet friends 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday prior to the service.

Memorials to the family can be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at RR1 Box 52, Kahoka, MO 63445.

Mr. BELKNAP was born Oct. 26, 1963, in Fort Madison.

He lived in Illinois and later in Burlington, where he graduated from high school. He has lived many years in Van Buren County, the past several years with Angel SPURGEON in Stockport.

Mr. BELKNAP was a self-employed building contractor until an injury forced him to retire. In recent years, he has enjoyed restoring old cars, painting tractors for the Old Threshers Association in Mt. Pleasant, playing with his grandchildren and gardening.

Survivors include: his significant other, Angel SPURGEON; four sons, Mark BELKNAP Jr. and wife Stacy of Burlington, Tony BELKNAP and wife Nicole of Burlington, Tyler BELKNAP of Fort Madison and Anthony CURTIS of Stockport; three daughters, Katreena BELKNAP of Burlington, Marcia BREWER and husband Brandon of Burlington and Nicole BELKNAP of Keosauqua; two stepsons, Chris SPURGEON of Cameron, Missouri, and Cory SPURGEON; one stepdaughter, Bobbie SPURGEON of Stockport; 25 grandchildren; and two brothers, Mike BELKNAP of Burlington and Terry BELKNAP in the Quad-Cities.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Frances VICTORY; and one brother, Lloyd CAVINESS.
