Vivian Joyce CLARK, 76, of Batavia, died Friday, July 15, 2016, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA).
The body has been cremated. A private burial will be at a later date.
Visitaiton for family and friends will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials can be made to the family. Cards and memorials can be sent to Sherri ELLIS, 803 N. Ninth St., Fairfield 52556.
Mrs. CLARK was born Nov. 18, 1939, the daughter of John and Nelda BRANDT BATTERSON. She married Ralph CLARK May 16, 1955. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. CLARK enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, canning, spending time with her grandchildren, visiting with friends and family, and her dogs.
Survivors include: nine children, Wayne CLARK of Isle, Minnesota, Carl CLARK of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Steve CLARK and wife Teressa of Las Vegas, Nevada, Virginia JOHNSON of Keosauqua, Dale CLARK and wife Denise of Birmingham, Robert CLARK of Ottumwa, Lisa COPELAND of Ollie, Sherri ELLIS of Fairfield and Michael CLARK of Batavia; one brother, Larry BATTERSON; 21 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: two great-granddaughters; her parents; and an infant brother.
