FITZWATER Rites Set

R.G. FITZWATER 78, 803 S. Third, died Wednesday at 10:05 p.m., at the Jefferson County Hospital. He had been in failing health for several years and seriously ill the past several days.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m., at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. George W. Koch officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

FITZWATER was born Oct. 22, 1895 at North English, the son of Anthony and Viola HOLETON FITZWATER. He was married to Ida E. GIESE who survives.

A veteran of World War I, he was employed by the Stallman Transfer Company and Karns Cement Company for many years.

He is also survived by two brothers, Otto FITZWATER of Birmingham and Theo FITZWATER of Taylor Ridge, Ill., one sister, Etta KLINDT of Davenport. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
