Thomas 'Tom' Michael KEELEY Jr.

Thomas "Tom" Michael KEELEY Jr., 71 of Fairfield, died Monday, July 4, 2016, at May Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Mr. KEELEY was born July 30, 1944, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Thomas and Wanda ANDERSON KEELEY. He married Linda WAUGH Dec. 14, 1991, in Fairfield.

Mr. KEELEY attended Mt. Pleasant school district through the end of his sophomore year and then moved to Delhi, where he graduated from Maquoketa Valley High School. He moved to Fairfield in 1964.

Mr. KEELEY worked at Dexter for 27 years until he retired in 2003 and was the grounds keeper at Walton Club. He was a member of Walton Club, Elks Lodge and VFW. He liked golfing and watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears and Hawkeyes.

Survivors include: his wife, Linda KEELEY of Fairfield; children, Kevin KEELEY and wife Patti of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kristin PETIE and husband Brennen of Portland, Oregon, Robyn NOLTING and husband Dale of West Branch, and Mark SWAN and wife Heather of Fairfield; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Jorene KELLER, Joyce THOMAS and Chris COGHLAN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Peggy HELMICK.
