Died at Her Home.

Mrs. Ida Jane REED, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. KELLER, living about eight miles southeast of this city, died July 7th, at 4 a.m. She was a sufferer about three weeks.

Mrs. REED was born in this county, Cedar township, December 19, 1873. Her parents were among the first settlers of Jefferson county, and well known to many. December 23, 1890, she was married to Mr. A. D. REED. She leaves a husband and one dear little boy, twenty months old; also, father, mother, three brothers and three sisters to mourn their loss. The funeral services were conducted by J W. Foote, at the home, July 8th, at nine o'clock, after which the body was laid to rest in the Ankrom (sic - now known as Pattison) cemetery at 11:30 o'clock.

The husband and parents wish to thank the many kind friends for their assistance.
