WIORA Rites Thursday

BRIGHTON - Mrs. Agnes WIORA, 81, native of the Brighton community, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday at Oak Park Hospital in Oak Park, Ill., where she had been a patient the past three weeks.

Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Louis Leonhardt officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery at Polishville.

Agnes WIORA was born Nov. 17, 1892, near Brighton. She was the daughter of Frank and Mary WIDLOCK DRISH.

She was married Aug. 19, 1913, to John WIORA, and moved to Chicago shortly after their marriage. Her husband died in 1928.

Mrs. WIORA was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church in Chicago.

Survivors include three sons: Richard, Oak Park; John Jr., Chicago; and Donald, Des Plaines, Ill.; two brothers, Frank DRISH and Lawrence DRISH, both of Brighton; and two sisters, Kathryn PALDAUF, Chicago; and Julia WIORA, Cary, Ill.

Prayers for a Christian Wake will be recited at 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
