DEATH CLAIMS MRS. ECKWALL

Mrs. Harvey ECKWALL, 62, life-time resident of Jefferson county, passed away this morning at the Jefferson county hospital at 7:10 a. m. She had been in serious condition the past two weeks, and a patient at the hospital for one week.

Last rites will be Sunday at 2:00 p. m. at the Weston Behner funeral home with Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Minnie JOHNSON ECKWALL was born September 10, 1886 in Jefferson county, Iowa, near Salina, the daughter of the late Alex and Carolina BACKSTROM JOHNSON. She was united in marriage November 27, 1907, to Harvey W. ECKWALL, who survives.

Mrs. ECKWALL spent practically her entire life in the Salina community. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Besides her husband, Mrs. ECKWALL is survived by two daughters and two sons; Mrs. Eugene WINSLOW, Fairfield; Mrs. Henry BENDT, Rock Island, Ill.; Ervin ECKWALL, at home; and Milo ECKWALL, Fairfield. She is also survived by three grand children.

Her parents and one sister preceded her in death.
